5.0 out of 5 stars Latin and prayer together 13 Nov. 2011

Here you have the New Testament in latin translated to english. If you love latin as I do it is a perfect combination to improve your latin and to pray at the same time.Types of individual prayer are: oratio (vocal prayer), mental prayer (meditatio), contemplative prayer (contemplatio). This reading of the New Testament is considered a meditatio as you can read the text, meditate on the subject, imagine you are part of the scene narrated in the text.

4.0 out of 5 stars Looks like a fabulous edition... 4 Mar. 2014

....But be careful, I found a word omission in Matthew 12:2: The Biblia Sacra Vulguta page lists the end of the verse: "quod non licet eis facere sabbatis" but this edition leaves out "eis".

You will want to check the text very carefully against another source.
