Stylin Review 11 May 2005
Format:Paperback
This book is a great starting point for anyone wanting to expand their knowledge of CSS. It makes many good points and demonstrates basic principles well enabling you to explore features and develop them yourself. The book also points out which features work in which browsers and offers "hacks" to fix it in other browsers.

A great book 11 Feb 2006

Format:Paperback
I've been making websites for the last 4 years and I've known for a while I shouldn't be making the page layout using tables. This book show's you quickly and easily how to do it using CSS and everything you really need to know about CSS in only 250 pages so it doesn't take long to read (changing your website may take a bit longer).

Thing's it covers are:
How to apply CSS style rules to your markup
Creating drop down menu's
Formating text with CSS
Building simple 2 and 3 column layouts without tables
Create fluid layouts that resize to fit browser windows
Tips to make your site look good on all devices (PDA's etc)
Adding background images to text and links
How to position any element where you want it

Excellent Guide 21 Dec 2005
Format:Paperback
I manage websites for the company intrantet, and have found existing methods of controlling the layout rather difficult and time consuming.

I knew about CSS and had tried to pick up bits about it off the internet but struggled, so I decided to purchase this book.

It has been absolutley excellent, if you only need to learn css then this is ideal (I would highly recommend a basic knowledge of HTML), in less than a week I have completely converted my site to using a central CSS sheet, now it takes 30seconds instead of 8 hours to make a global change to something as simple as a font or header.

Highly recommend this book if you want to learn CSS
