As I've said in the title, this book is very visual-- which can be a good thing, if that's what you're looking for. It's packed with photos of fashion bloggers in their signature outfits. And I mean LOTS of photos.
My first reaction when I took it out of the Amazon.com box was, "ummmm...that's it? where's the words" I eventually found them-- in the form of bullet points with facts about each blogger. "I'm still afraid of the dark", "I love homemade paella" etc. etc. That was a little disappointing, I thought there might be a focus on fashion related questions like, "what's your go-to accessory", "where do you find inspiration for your style..." and don't get me wrong there are these types of questions-- you just have to dig around for them amongst the random facts.
I can appreciate the idea of the book though-- it's interesting to take a peek into the lives of stylish people...and I get it, (street) fashion is not about rules and guidelines. I guess it was just far from what I expected it to be so it left more to be desired.
Great for inspiration, though you could just search fashion blogs on the internet and find similar pictures with similar outfits...
It's okay, and I will probably grow to like it more...
