Counted 15 bugs collected over the brief summer that we had here in London. Was quite frustrated initially that it didn't catch anything. Then I've read to attach it near an area where they frequently fly. This means I had to hang it in the middle of the room even though I worry I walk right into it. Nevertheless it worked. Only shifted it to another spot when guests arrived.
Three stars because if the attractant was strong enough the fly will go to it. Instead I had to place it front of their faces.

Big horseflies can dodged it completely. They normally fly quite low on the ground too. Will try the window sills ones next year. They love windows. Big or small.
