5.0 out of 5 stars My Ears Have Just Been Fingered!!! 30 Oct 2012
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Windows Down, System Up!

All the violent excitement of dubstep without such a narrow sound stucture.

Totally worth the purchase!

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm in London gettin' it jumpin... 25 Oct 2012
Format:Audio CD
Luke Vibert has Wagon Christ, Eskmo has Welder, Aphex Twin has Polygon Window, Analogue Bubblebath and god knows how many more, why shouldn't Amon Tobin have an alter-ego? I need to make one thing very clear from the start; this is not an Amon Tobin record. This is a Two Fingers record. These are two VERY different things.

When I say I am enjoying this record, at the same time it feels like I should know better. I mean, I should be too old for this kind of music, having long ditched a lot of music I loved in my teens like the Chemical Brothers and the Crystal Method. These have been replaced with the likes of Shigeto, Yppah, The Black Keys and most highly Sir Amon himself. What this record, and indeed Noisia and Lorn's records, have allowed me to do is enjoy the beat for the beat's sake again.

This record was always going to happen. For those that have lived and breathed Amon Tobin's work for the last 15 years (I myself have been listening for about 10) will know he makes pretty brutal beats. Fast Eddie, Reanimator, 4 Ton Mantis, Verbal, Esther's, The Lighthouse, all of these tracks and more aim to give you a good kick up the arse. But then ISAM was released and things got weird. ISAM is a beautiful, sculptured soundscape of an album, but it was lacking a distinct rhythm, something every Amon Tobin record has in common. There were no Rhino Jockey's, no Rosie's but we did get Bedtime Stories and Dropped From the Sky. And I understood why, as a track like Get Your Snack on just wouldn't have worked in ISAM. It was a very serious piece of music and, in my opnion, his most beautiful. As I marvelled at the complexity of ISAM I felt sure that Amon couldn't give up the rhythm. You just don't stop being the world's greatest beatsmith. Something had to give, and sure enough it did.

5.0 out of 5 stars massive beats 16 May 2013
Format:MP3 Download
wow, it's kinda annoying when albums pass you by and you stumble on them by chance, or maybe it's better that a track like Sweden just jumps out of the speakers and slaps your ears around!!!

massive sound and massive impact, it would be awesome to be in some warehouse and this album is just rocking out through the marshalls!!!
