This is without a doubt one of the funniest Christian books every written (after 2 Peter, obviously) - it picks up on all the quirks of Christianity and loving pokes light fun at them. And there is some serious stuff too (like which Bible character is best at frisbee) - well worth reading

If you've read the blog, you'll be familiar with the sort of stuff that Jon writes about - really funny observances on Christian habits and feelings, mixed in with some more challenging and thought-provoking stuff. If you've not read the blog, you should go and check it out right now.
Even though you may not be from a Baptist Megachurch in the Bible Belt of the US, Christians' idiosyncrasies transcend borders. If you're anything like me, you'll see elements of yourself and your church pointed out and written about in a way which leaves you no other choice but to laugh - a lot - and wonder how on earth Jon Acuff knows so much about you.
This book is well worth whatever the current price is (except if it goes past £15, because that'd be milking it, and that sort of money could really be better used on an offering plate, no?).
A warning, however: it is highly addictive. Once you start, the short blocks of texts serve to engender a "just one more won't hurt" attitude, and before you know it three hours will have passed and you'll have read the very last words (spoiler: they're "Razzle dazzle. Jon").

This book is funny but it's a bit long winded and you can get as much out of the blog.
