I have to teach Disaster Movies for the first time in September and although I'm fairly confident that I know what I'm doing, I bought this just as a safety net. I have to say that it is excellent. It's written very clearly and is a well-thought out and sensibly structured. I imagine that it is going to be an extremely useful resource (and as a bonus it's also a very interesting read!).

Tiny little pocket book!

I ordered this used...still about $15 with shipping and was shocked to find this tiny, slim little pocket-sized book. And it only talks about 5 films, not including Airport, which is a parody. Looks like the sort of book you'd buy to write a college paper and wanted to cheat.
Disappointed.
