bought this for my 19 yr old son who has been vegan 17 years.was hoping for store cupboard recipes or how to make 5 different dishes out of the same ingredients,was hoping for home cooking recipes,simple healthy familiar recipes,very disapointed sort of book you may only ever try one thing from this book.

I am not impressed with this book. There are hardly any recipies for actual main meals, the book is full of boring and basic componants e.g Sauteed Greens, Whole grain couscous and Polenta - which I would not count as recipies. Out if the entire book there are only 3 recipies I want to try.
Good points about the book are that it is clear and well laid out with descriptive recipie titles. Another downside for Uk buyers is that it is all in American cup measurments which I can live with for liquids but gets tiresome when it's used for everything such as mushrooms, broccoli and olives.

I own 'Please Don't Feed The Bears' and 'The Kundalini Yoga Cookbook' and , ok, any book would struggle to compare with those greats, but this is a run of the mill, boring book. And the others were half the price too !
