Reviews of previous edition: "The book is perfect for revision. I found it really great that it was specific only to my syllabus because it meant there were no extra pages to wade through. Although I am aware some books tell you which parts you need to look at for each specification I preferred a book catering for only one examining board because it kept content down to a minimum making it look less threatening and much more approachable! The modular format also really helped with this, I'd suggest you get the whole set! The content is easy to understand and in easily enough detail." "An excellent guidebook for this module. The book covers the bare essentials for this chemistry module. Although it does not go into substantial detail, it is excellent as a quick reference and is also very useful for "last-minute" cramming."

A true life saver, helped me achieve over 98% in my entire Chemistry A-Level and get my A*!

These books (ie, CSSM Biology and Chemistry) ARE ABSOLUTELY VITAL. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW GOOD THESE BOOKS ARE!
It's almost like the examiners use this book when coming up with their questions! I honestly owe both of my A*s (98% and 99% respectively) in Chem and Bio to these books. I hated taking notes at A-Level, and would pretty much rely solely on these.

I found this guide a massive help with my revision, i re-sat unit 2 in January of year 13 and found that this book had most of the essential details i required to know with the exam, i would recommend using this along with teacher notes and AQA textbook as it fits in great and helps you further understand the material

Does what it says on the tin
Bought this for my sons because it was a compulsory text. It is early days (they have only been using it for three weeks) but they say it is well laid out and easy to use.
