I bought first just two (one for my god-mother, one for me), then seven more copies of this atlas because it is so practical and the best present for ageing relatives and acqaintances who read the Bible regularly.
The maps are very clear and the information is calibrated very nicely for people who want an interesting guide for Biblre-reading and not much more.
The publishers seem to have made the all-important calculation that the weight and size of the book governs its usefulness. This books sits as light as a feather on an old godmother/aunt's lap yet gives her all the important journeys and map-dependent stories of the Bible. The pages are of thickish paper so the book will last long. The seven new copies are for my mum and her friends at a retirement home. I know they'll absolutely love it. Amazon delievered the atlases (which are very slim) well-packed so there're no bends.
