I am intrigued by the reviewer comment below. The review below gives this book one star and says it is no good and is similar to other books out there.
This book is not yet published. So how does the reviewer know what is in it?
As a matter of fact, I am one of the endorsers of this book. So I know what is in it. And it is not like other books, it is infact much superior to them. Here is a list of things described and analysed in Choudhry's book that is not in other books:
1-the iBoxx note and iBoxx CDS
2-the basket TRS used in a synthetic ABCP vehicle, referencing a zero-strike call
3- the single-tranche CDO
4-the multi-SPV credit hybrid CDO
5- synthetic RMBS structures
6-the synthetic repack vehicle using funded credit derivs to transform an existing unfunded unhedged exposure.
The list goes on.
I have no idea why someone would make up a review like the one below, this book is not yet published so the reviewer below is simply making his/her opinions up.
One last thing: I challenge this person to find information on the above by simply trawling the web. He/she knows this info would not be there.
We all of us should at least have the good grace to wait until a book is published, and then read it, before putting in a review.
