2.0 out of 5 stars Heavy Going for the Maths Genius, 14 Aug 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Rath & Strong's Six Sigma Advanced Tools Pocket Guide: How to Use Design of Experiments, Analysis of Variance, Regression Analysis and 25 Other Powerful Tools (Spiral-bound)
A great book for existing six sigma proffessionals - contains a very brief explanation of the tools and then quick examples.
Small text size and diagram size is not great as there are lots of diagrams all about the size of a stamp, but then this is a "pocket" guide.
No details about the six sigma methodology just a quick reference of the statistical tools for those already familiar. If you are not six sigma trained then this book is no good for you unless you are a maths genius.

3.0 out of 5 stars Useful pocket book to remind you, 17 Nov 2009

This is purely a reference book. It is small so easy to keep around you.
Reminds you of what you already should know from your training, but not much use to someone without 6-Sigma qualification (probably).
Probably don't use it so much now as I use Minitab and have the QSB (poorly named) "Pocket" Book as my main reference now - much bigger but more appropriate for what I need.
