At the Silvadollaz strip club, a stripper named Justice performs a private lap dance for Mickey, a man who violates the no-touching policy ... by sprouting fangs and claws and trying to eat her! Justice panics and takes the only option open to her: she drives a silver fountain pen through Mickey s eye, into his brain, killing him instantly. Oops... Jeanette, the club s owner, believes murdering customers is bad for business, so she orders the club s bouncer to quietly dispose of the body. There the matter should end ... if Mickey hadn t been a member of a bloodthirsty and vengeful pack of werewolves. When Mickey s corpse surfaces, Jack Ferris, the werewolves charming and vicious leader, swears bloody vengeance and sends his pack out to hunt down the killers. Little does he know, Justice is actually the fiancée of his second in command, Scott. To make matters worse, Justice bites Scott during sex and now may be infected with the curse of lycanthropy herself. Add to the mix werewolf Barker, the masturbating man-child; Sinclair, the occultist with low self-esteem; a bevy of the most beautiful women this side of heaven and you have the perfect recipe for balls to the wall, skimpily clad, strippers on werewolves action-packed goodness. Strippers vs Werewolves - stripping has never been this hairy!

As this latest episode in the age-old battle between strippers and werewolves plays out, I think we all know who the good guys are. Things have been quiet since the explosion of the Silvadollaz strip club back in 1984, but that all changes when one dumb brute goes all hairy during a private dance with "Justice" (Adele Silva) inside Vixen's. One silver fountain pen to the eye later, a werewolf lies dead and Vixen's owner Jeanette knows that her girls and her club are in danger. There's not a lot of good you can say about werewolves, but you can't say they aren't loyal to their pack. Once they find out how their mate died, it's on.

When these strippers signed on to dance, they knew they would have to deal with some potentially dangerous - even hairy - guys, but I'm pretty sure that werewolves were not mentioned anywhere in their contracts. Never underestimate a stripper, though - especially Justice, as she's even able to turn a complicating and potentially disastrous complication to the girls' own advantage. There are a few subplots that make this movie a little more interesting (strippers are people, too, you know) and there's a fair share of comedy sprinkled throughout, but in the end it's exactly what the title says - Strippers vs. Werewolves.

Here's a list of things to be aware of before watching this film. Robert Englund basically has a cameo scene and that's it; there's not much in the way of actual stripping; and the special effects (especially the werewolf makeup) aren't going to win any awards. There's some blood and gore, but this isn't really a horror film. It's pure camp, and you probably already know whether you're the type of person who would enjoy it. I thought it was pretty decent.

I was given this film as an "ironic" gift as I like the comic/mock-horror film genre (The Cottage, Cabin In The Woods, Cockneys -vs- Zombies, Shawn of the Dead & etc), and, as such, I had no preconceptions of this film, other than not to take it too seriously.

In summary, the film contained misogynist gangster werewolves and a group of strippers who manage to become sworn enemies. This film is cheesy, definitely silly and boast a far more respectable cast than would be expected... I was particularly pleased to see Alan Ford in another outing... (also in Cockneys -vs- Zombies.

This is not art, it is a very entertaining mock-horror film, with several comic twists and a bucket or two of blood and guts.

You don't have to analyse this film to enjoy it.

Okay, I wasn't expecting a film with the calibre of The Godfather. I kind of knew what I was getting when watching a film entitled `Strippers vs Werewolves.' However, I was at least hoping for some stupid, cheesy fun with plenty of gore and chuckles.

Unfortunately, this film doesn't deliver on any of it. I had at least reasonably high hopes, based on watching another couple of similarly-themed films: `Zombie Strippers' and `Strippers vs Zombies.' Neither of them were exactly Shakespeare, but they were at least entertaining in a totally dumbed down way (which was all I was expecting). However, Britain's attempt to cash in on this B-movie genre really doesn't take off.

For a start, the acting is bad. Yes, it's a low budget horror B-movie, but I was still hoping for a little less wooden performances. Secondly, the werewolves are about as scary as a dog you'd see hanging out of Paris Hilton's handbag. Thirdly, it's just not particularly funny. Fourthly, you won't give a damn about a single character and, finally, there's not that much gore (or at least for about ninety per cent of the movie).

In all, it's a film trying to get people to see it, based on its blatantly cheesy name. If you look this film up on the internet, you'll notice that it only took £38 at the UK box office. I'm guessing that was one person who watched the film and who bought about £30 worth of popcorn and sweets.

Is there no film that Billy Murray won't star in?

Dont take this too seriously, some memorable scenes, ouch at the biro effect, surprising who pops up in this flik - most from eastenders. LoL. Neat special effects, always looking out for these as an FX enthusiast. The sniffer werewolf - FETCH!
dotted with comic moments throughout, especially the yank stripper who has plenty of balls, especially when fending off the werewolfs. On the whole a comic and interesting idea on the usual werewolf genre.

After a stripper kills a werewolf with her silver pen, a pack of werewolves hunt down the killer of one of their kind as the film evolves toward the title climax. This production has a decent soundtrack and some stars. The film is more comedy than horror. Lines from the film:

"My mother sold my soul to the devil when I was 9 so I wouldn't be an altar boy."

"I'm sorry. I may have blocked your toilet."

"I would never do that...not on the first date anyway."

The film is campy with a little grindhouse mixed in. It had some enjoyable lines and scenes. Worth a peek for quirky grindhouse fans.

Parental Guide: F-bomb, sex, ample nudity FF.
