Synopsis
Packed full of glitz, glamour, show-stopping moves and more sequins than ever, the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing makes its transition from the screen to the stage. Glittering, glamourous, exciting and funny, Strictly Come Dancing--The Live Tour features all of your favourite elements from the series--including sequins and feathers, bickering judges, even the glitter ball--as each couple performs two dances to receive the expert judges scores and face the audience vote.

Introduced by Kate Thornton, stars from all five series--including celebrities Zoë Ball, Louisa Lytton, James Martin, Chris Parker, Denise Lewis, Letitia Dean, Matt Di Angelo and Darren Gough--join professional partners such as Darren Bennett, Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone once again. Together they tango, foxtrot, waltz, jive, rumba, cha-cha-cha and pasa doble in front of judges Len Goodman, Arlene Philips and Craig Revel Horwood--not to mention a packed arena audience--in pursuit of the Glitterball Trophy. if you are a fan of strictly or of dancing then this is the dvd for you! full of beautiful dances, even if you dont watch the show you will enjoy it!

This live tour is a great way of looking back at some of the best contestants that have been on Strictly Come Dancing. Everyone dances a latin and a ballroom dance, and gets scored by the 3 judges (minus Bruno). And then the audience votes for their favourite couple. It's really exciting to watch. There's fun backstage footage on the dvd aswell!! If you love Strictly then this is definitely worth buying.

I saw the Strictly Tour back in January 2008 and had to make do with little clips on YouTube until November when the official DVD was issued! Well, it was worth the wait - great to see all the performances well shot in a professional DVD.

I like the fact that there is a menu so you can choose individual dances. The behind the scenes clips are good too - Len is very funny.

Of the dancers, I enjoyed Denise Lewis's Quickstep and Louisa Lytton's Tango, but best of all is the group Viennese Waltz, which was stunning to see Live and great on the DVD. There are some great Pro dances as well - especially Vincent & Flavia's Argentine Tango, which is worth the price of the DVD on it's own!

A good mix of celeb's make this a thoroughly entertaining show.

Can't wait for the 2009 Tour ... and (eventually) the DVD ... in Nov09!
