I bought these DVDs for my wife and I to get a little fitter. The routines are fast and complicated and at first it was difficult to keep up, but we saw this as a good thing as once we are up to speed we shouldn't get bored with them.
You can pick and choose which routines you want to do and which dances you want to learn and tailor your workout to your level of fitness and the time you have available.

I bought this DVD cos I love strictly and wanted something a little different to work out to. I started with Karen and Erin's dancersize DVD which is explained well and although you get a little confused at first you pick it up quite quickly. The always talk you through it and let you know when the steps are going to change.
Tonight I've tried Kelly and Flavia's for the first time and it's nowhere near as good. I love the tango but what the routine requires a high back chair more one you have in a dining room. I don't have a dining room so as a result I don't have a chair with a high enough back and can't do the routine. This really angered me. Kelly is a terrible instructor when she does a routine as she doesn't inform you when steps are changing or what you're doing. It feels like she's learned it for weeks so you're just expected to keep up. The salsa routine is a good routine but the quickstep is hard to follow as kelly fails to talk you through it.
On the whole I am glad I bought them but i'll be sticking to the dancersize DVD with karen and erin as they are far better teachers and it is far more enjoyable.

I have the workout dvd so can only fairly comment on the bit with Kelly B and Flavia C. I thought it a bit complicated on first viewing but really it didn't take long to learn and it's good fun. It does really make you work - especially the jive. All the music is good and fits the dance moves. If you go wrong - so what?! I have enjoyed using it.
