This so called HD version is no better quality than the original SD disc. If you already have it on DVD don't bother to upgrade. If you are considering buying it then go for the SD version & save yourself £10. I have sent mine back.

Although not the greatest Hi Def transfer. I do believe the quality to be greater than the standard DVD.
The standard DVD does go blurry even if upscaled.
Coming from Australia, as of March 2009 this is the best source material available. Well worth the purchase price. Very happy viewing it.
We would get a better picture if there was a clean original negative scanned at 6K.

Had never seen this film before and really enjoyed it. It has great comic moments, music, dancing and some pathos. Anyone who enjoys TV's Strictly programme, would like this film.
