Format: Paperback
The "101 ways" type format is well proven and popular and this latest book is guaranteed to relate to at least some of the issues the reader faces, whoever they are. It's ambitious for any one book to try and cover the 'meaning of life' but for people owning and running their own business, life and work are inextricably linked and the Authors understand that and tackle it head on. We're all busy but this book is easy to dip in and out of and invites you to work on your business for 10 minutes rather than in it and to look at some of the issues in your personal life as well. It could be the best 10 minutes you spend all year!

Steve Pipe has done it again! I defy anyone to read this book and not find at least a couple of ideas that they can immediately use to either de-stress their life or simply improve their business.

This is not a textbook but more a compendium of ideas covering a wide spread of life and business areas. You might find that some of the concepts are somewhat basic, more examples of common sense than research led solutions. You will certainly be disappointed if you come to it expecting a structured, step-by-step approach linking all of the concepts presented into a total solution. There are many heavy, academic tomes that one can turn to for this type of support. However, that's the beauty of Steve's book; it succeeds because it is an easy read that you don't have to struggle with; it works because it jogs you to action.

Having worked with Steve, I can say that this book captures his sheer sincerity and enthusiasm for helping his fellow man (and woman) to improve their live's, whether in business or not.

I loved this book and gave me some great ideas to share with clients. I was thinking of providing all new clients with a copy to then follow up on...until I read the chapter on "advanced tax avoidance". I personally believe it is completely inequitable for some to avoid significant tax through set up of arbitrary schemes. The tax we pay has some value too ! It pays for schools, hospitals, roads, defence, benefits, care for the elderly and vulnerable, assisting other countries in crisis. Cut that foolish chapter out with its recommendations (I believe in basic tax planning, but if you have a thriving business why not feel good about contributing more to the country's well-being rather than demonising the "taxman" as something to avoid at all costs?) and this is a brilliant book !!

This is a easy-to-read book, with 44 tips on how to unload stress from three aspects of life: your own business, your money, and your life. Even reading it is a good relaxing thing to do. So far I found the first tip "systemizing your job" is readily applicable in work. It indeed opens my eyes on how to better run a small business. Good purchase!
