the blindigly obvious 15 Feb 2011
By Oli
Format:Kindle Edition
Maybe stress mnagement is extremely obvious. As obvious as most of the suggestions in this book. Maybe my expectations were too high and I was hoping for something new that either I hadn't read before or that wasn't overly patronising. I didn't get too much from this.

Great Read...Useful 4 Dec 2010

I think nowadays at some point in your life, everyone has a touch of stress. Whether its moving house, new job, having a baby...life is so much more busier than say a few years ago.

That's where this book comes in. It's an easy read and there are lots and lots of tools and techniques you can use on yourself to improve you mood and avoid being stressed. It's the sort of book you can read once, and then keep referring back to from time to time. And the good thing is that it is so basic and therefore easy to understand and use practically on a day to day basis.

Highly recommended.

I strongly recommend you this book. I first bought a copy for myself and it helped me a lot to be aware of stress and taught me many basic techniques to combat it. I found it so useful that even my parents in law noticed the positive change on me, taking things easier and not going mad on stuff that did not worth it, including my job! Actually I bought this same book for one of my colleagues at work who is also very stressed, I hope she'll appreciate it as much as I did.
