Being skeptical about such practices, I listened to this with an open mind. The results were astonishing, the affirmations do have a positive effect as they replace negative thought processes. The key is to keep listening to re-programme yourself to remain positive. I recommend this to those who know they can keep an open mind and ultimately benefit from this.

You can switch off while listening to this and it doesn't require any effort on your part other than to relax. The first side is 25 mins of affirmations which do become very relaxing the more you listen. The second side is music with subliminal affirmations (I didn't know that this meant they are there but you don't hear them - but I do now). I prefer the first side. I think if you are trying to improve your positive thinking then like me you'll find this very useful. The author has a very relaxing voice and I'm pleased with this cd however I would say you may need to pick and choose with some of her other audio stuff as I think they can be a matter of personal taste - I did get one that was a bit too deep for me.

I work as a mental health support worker and recommended this CD to one of my clients who has a severe anxiety disorder. She has been listening to the CD two times a day for the past three weeks and the reduction in her anxiety levels are significant and profound. I was amazed at the difference in her demeanour and at how calm she is now. WOW! I am so pleased and can't recommend this CD enough.
