Active Ingredients: 2, 4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol 1.2mg, Amylmetacresol 0.6mg Also contains: Sucrose, Glucose Syrup, Honey, Tartaric Acid, Peppermint Oil, Terpeneless Lemon Oil and Quinoline Yellow (E104) Each Lozenge contains 1g of Glucose and 1.4g of Sucrose

Strepsils Soothing effective relief for sore throats Honey & Lemon Dual Antiseptic Action Strepstils Honey and Lemon Lozenges provide effective relief from the discomfort of sore throats. Each Lozenge contains: * A combination of 2 antiseptics to fight the infections which can cause sore throats and mouth infections. Caution:- * Remember young children can choke on lozenges. * If you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed, do not use this product. This product is unsuitable if you are intolerant to carbohydrate. May occasionally cause allergic reactions, including asthma. This is more common if you are allergic to aspirin. * Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you take too many lozenges, if symptoms persist, or if anything unusual happens. * Do not use after the expirty date Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.

We purchased a box of these lozenges in Ireland and they worked very well for soothing my husbands sore throat. Unfortunately we could not find them here in the US. I chanced across them on Amazon and have bought several boxes to stockpile for future sore throats in our household.

I first used these in Ireland after coming down with a scratchy throat, runny nose and cough. They were very soothing when I was so far away from home and couldn't access my home remedies. Now I don't know what to do without them when the throat "crud" creeps in.
