OK, let's get the music out of the way first, 'Strength' is more of a rock album than 'Declaration' with very few or no overdubs and includes some Alarm gems like 'Dawn Chorus', 'Deeside' and 'Spirit Of '76' (how this particular song didn't lead to world domination is a mystery to me) and although the album does slightly suffer from a slightly 80s sound, that's because, well, it was made in the 80s.
The extras on the remastered version include 4 live songs along with 'Caroline Isenberg' (10 times better than the original mix), 'One Step Closer To Home' (not available anywhere else in this form), 'Majority' (classic throwaway b-side) and 'Absolute Reality' (another classic single).
The only real problem is that, if you want to listen to the actual album you have to program the CD as it's all been jumbled up for no good reason and the live tracks at the end are somewhat unnecessary.
