First impressions were good. The kettle came with some useful items and was well packaged. We bought the kettle to use for mid journey stops when traveling, to make fresh coffee. The kettle had been heating the water for 35 minutes when we gave up waiting for it to get anywhere near hot enough to make coffee with. I wouldn't recommend this item unless you have unlimited patience and time.
