Graffiti art is constantly changing. Fresh coats of paint and newly pasted posters appear overnight in cities across the world. New artists, new ideas, and new tactics displace faded images in a perpetual process of renewal and metamorphosis. From Los Angeles to Barcelona, Stockholm to Tokyo, Melbourne to Milan, wall spaces are a breeding ground for graphic and typographic forms as artists unleash their daily creations.
Current graffiti art is reflective of the world around it. Using new materials and techniques, its innovators are creating a language of forms and images infused with contemporary graphic design and illustration. Fluent in branding and graphic imagery, they have been replacing tags with more personal logos and shifting from typographic to iconographic forms of communication.
Street Logos is a worldwide celebration of these new developments in twenty-first-century graffiti, an essential sourcebook for all art and design professionals, and a delight to everyone excited by the vitality of the street.

Not bad at all,

I didn't think this book was too bad at all. The reason I bought it, however, was to look for inspiration for my own artwork and I must say I didn't find it here. In defence of the book, it is very informative about different artists styles etc. and there are many pictures showing the work that they achieved. It explains the thinking behind all of the street art campaings and pieces exceptionally well and this is a very good buy for those who are starting out in street art, veterans at the subject, or just have a mild interest in it.

street art,

more of the same from the author of Stencil Graffiti. This time the focushas changed to the broader topic of street art, and includes graffiti, stencils and stickers. There's a handful of pages on each artist, with abrief description and several photos. If you liked his previous book, orhave a keen interest in street art, then you should enjoy this book. Ifyou're looking for a proper graffiti book, you could do better elsewhere, but for the price and quality, this is still a good buy. At times thephotos of certain artists are too similar, where I felt they could havehad more variation, to get a better idea of the range of an artist's work. Also, this suffers from the same problem as Stencil Graffiti, in that itfeels very like a slim coffee-table book for dilletante trendies who don'thave a deep knowledge of the subject. Or maybe that's it's greateststrength!
