The fourth volume of the Street Fighter comic series, as its title "Bonus Stage" suggests, brings the reader a compilation of side-stories which evolves around the different characters. This includes an episode of Sagat's defeat in the previous tournament, the assassin who strikes at Gen and Chun-Li, the early stage of Cammy blending in with Delta Red etc...
Despite the interesting stories which explore the different characters, personally I found it a slightly disappointing experience to read. To begin with the weaker argument, I was expecting the story in the present, following from the first three volumes (which I greatly enjoyed) when I bought this volume. I guess that's a case of not reading the title properly. The bigger part of which I was disappointed with was the art-styles in some of the chapters. I know there are different artists involved, but I preferred it it the styles were more consistant with similar levels of details (as was the case in the first three volumes). Other than that there were some chapters at which I simply disliked both the story and the art because they simply didn't seem to fit with the series.
In summary, when you read this volume, you will experience a change in pace, change in how the comic's drawn so it should come down to how well you take these changes.
