Never - in my life - have I ever read a book from start to finish in one go, but I did with "Streakers" last night.
I currently don't know if the book is fiction or not, but I believed it was real.
This book is strangely heart warming, touching and down right hilarious at times.
I love how "The Flash" decides to help a boy who needs an operation, and all of a sudden he goes from being a funny streaker to a local hero, and people in the community all rally around him - there's something in that which I recognise from trying to do a good thing, and being stopped by laws and bureaucracy, so it felt wonderful for the balance of power to tip back in to every day people's favour for once.
I think this book seems to be about self analysis, comparing yourself to other people, friendship, enjoying "gay abandon", feeling support from those around you, and trying to beat all odds.
This is my second favourite book after Ozzy's Autobiography - buy it, buy it now, and laugh!! :D
