I have never written a review about a book before, though I want to recommend this one.

I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it as a good short story.

I did not think this story really went anywhere. I kept waiting for some excitement but it did'nt happened. I consider it a very tame story, with no real punch. Sorry!

2.0 out of 5 stars Streak across the sky 18 Jun 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I had read a short story by this author and it was good, so I purchased this full length book, but found it dragged too much, to the extent that I gave up half way through. It may have a wonderful ending, like the short story did, however I could not keep my interest up to get to the end. Sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent as always! 23 Nov 2011

I loved this book. Normally I only read crime fiction...which is why I read Jack Erickson but when I saw his name I thought I would give it a try. I am glad I did. This story was so gentle and captivating I felt totally invloved in their relationship and hoped against hope it would have a happy outcome. I am not giving anything away. This is the first of this kind of fiction I have read of Jack's. It will certainly not be the last...if he writes them as well as he did this...I will read them. Beautifully written with great feeling.

Erickson's story of a summer romance turns into a serries of unansweed questions which are not answered until the last few pages. Not too fast paced to keep you awake durring your afternoon hammock nap,
