this is obviously a children's book, and i read it quite a number of years ago.
its the story of a boy and a pony who loves strawberry jam sandwiches, as the name suggests, and it is set early on in the century.
its a charming book which i really enjoyed reading - its one of the ones that is difficult to put down. the strawberry jam pony is an ideal choice for a book for a child, being interesting, fun and sweet
