5.0 out of 5 stars Genius 30 Oct 2005
Format:Audio CD
Dance/electronica genius. As a fan of the Misch Masch album that Freeform Five mixed, I looked up this release as soon as available. I only had to listen to a couple of clips before realising how good this was. Superb fat electronic baselines, and funky all the way through.
One stand-out track is No More Conversations, great vocals and slick production have created a killer track (currently topping Radio 1 dance charts), but it's by no means a lonely highlight. There are no low points. Get me to a club with this playing, now!!
Part 2 is a very strong selection of remixes with a host of names such as Richard X, Mylo, fellow Misch Masch-ers Tiefschwartz. A great double album as a result.
Anyone who likes Bugged Out, Fischerspooner, Tiefschwartz, Mylo, Erol Alkan and similar should def give this a spin. Enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars The kiss of life for dance music!! 7 Nov 2004
Format:Audio CD
I've read a lot of great reviews for this album and heard some remixes these guys have done, so was interested in checking this out...It's actually nothing like I imagined- even though it definitely comes from the electronic music scene, the songs on here are stunning- from the sleazy Prince/Beck vibes of 'Electromagnetic' to the beautiful heartache of 'Slow' which could almost be on a Coldplay record. A lot of people are saying it's poppy, but I think that's just because the songs are so strong- there is enough forward thinking production on here to even keep a music snob like me happy!!
I also love the artwork which is stunning and shows an attention to detail missing from most of todays fodder- even the website freeformfive.com has its own little twists (use your keyboard- there is a great dj mix to stream on there) With artists like Mylo, Freeform Five and Annie, electronic music has a bright future...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Pop album of the year 27 Oct 2004
Format:Audio CD
If you want to listen to some of the best and up and coming pop music then this album is it. The songs are written really well and beats any Top 40 single. Strangest Things has everything you want, from the slow numbers (Slow, Easy, and What Are You Waiting For?) through to the booty shakin 'Eeeeaaooww' and 'Strangest Things'. If you like Basement Jaxx, Van Helden, NERD, etc and are reading this review then buy this album. You will enjoy!!!!
