The ecletic mix of soft rock, jazz and latin beats left me more than pleasantly suprised with this first release. I was fortunate to then catch a live jam session at a benifit performance in New York where I was blown away by the talent of this group. We danced the night away.

Wish's major label debut is a tough, melodic set of gnarled, post-punk hard rock. An easy comparison is Dinosaur Jr, but Wish's music is closer to the country-rock leanings of The Presidents Of The United States Of America - underneath their loud, grungy guitars there is a distinct rootsiness lacking in most Seattle bands and that give Strangest Places its edge. [Strangest Places is also available import release.]

The Group WISH Doesent Have Any Info Because This Album Must Be Really Unreleased Because I Know Their Stickers But Not The Group. It Must Be Really Diffucult To Remember That Strangest Places Has No Info.
