This is a great record and I know i will be playing it for years to come, gareths voice is at first harsh and and i thought i could'nt like it .How wrong I was ,over the first few plays the hooks become more apparent. the songs settle in to you ,its an easy record to put on and the acoustic guitar sounds great, first thing in the morning or last thing at night.Im not sure what the songs are about but they seem natural and unforced ,all the songs on the cd seem to fit the same vision and work with each other to create a whole concept .This is really good stuff.highly recommendedStrange Tourist

Worth buying for the title track alone. It is a book in a song and a song in a million. And the album conjures a universe. Gareth is simply one of the best songwriters to surface in a good long while. When I listen to him (solo or w/the Drones) I feel like I used to while reading Kerouac. Like he is the only voice on the planet. Immediate, honest, total. Everything else falls away hollow, fake, foolish. Take the trip.
