This book is just what I needed for a wee lift to my spirits. I came away from it with a nice warm glow.
The characters are interesting and you really start to get to know them in this first book of the series. I am about to start on the next one because I am curious about the others neighbours in the Brownstone.
The story has a good mix of paranormal characters who all have a story to tell. If you want a story that jogs along lightly and doesn't bog you down with complicated descriptions and scenarios then this one is for you. Thank you for a good read. I am looking forward to the next book.

No brain strain here. No major plot or character development. Want a short story peppered with some mild romance and flacid sex scenes? Yes? Then buy this book and kill an hour.

Definitely a good idea for a book. Bit "Being Human" ish. In general I enjoyed it and the main story was good. However, I found it a struggle due to Merry's character who quite frankly got on my nerves all the way through. I also found too much detail was given in relation to some things that we really didnt need to know about. Could have been so much better. Shame.

This novel had no depth to it in that it was a really easy light hearted read. I enjoyed the different characters in the book but found the plot totally ridiculous. Extremely cheesy romance & complete acceptance from the main charcter about far fetched ideas i.e. her 'birth father' which I found hard to believe. The sex scenes were completely over the top for the type of novel it is too.

hi got this free i read reviews thought i would give it a try it was a really good read didnt need much thinking about but was funny one minute lovey dovey another and sexy another would read more of this author
