i absolutely loved this twisted funny at at times heartbreaking collection of short stories. They show such an imagination and was unputdownable. eagerly awaiting more from this writer, great stuff!

Some really inventive tales here. I particularly liked 'Heart of Ice' and the Rapunzel tale. A fine way to while away an hour or so.

I downloaded this book to read on a car journey and literally didn't look up from it until I had finished. (Don't worry I wasn't the driver!)
Each story was expertly written and, as the title would suggest, there was a strange twist at the end.
The author showed such great imagination and her crafting of each tale was beautifully done, even the stories with a darker side to them. My particular favourite was a reworking of the classic story Rapunzel. To my mind it was even better than the original. The description that went into showing Rapunzel plaiting her hair transported me into that tower with her and not wishing to spoil the story I will say it had a unique yet fabulous ending, a totally modern twist on an old tale.
I would highly recommend this book and shall be looking out for more books from this author in the future.

Strange, Short and Sweet
Love is tough to write. The balance between honest emotion and hallmark diabetic coma is a fine one but it's one that's skilfully executed in this little gem.
