Fun:
A far above average hidden object game with a well defined plot to link the object scenes and puzzles and very nice artwork. This game is a sequel to the previous Strange Cases game Strange Cases: Tarot Card (PC CD) and the opening sequence contains a number of reference to the happenings of that game, which if like me you haven't played make little sense unfortunately.
The objects are sensible hidden, nothing too hard to find or too obvious, there is a definite reason for you searching each time based on the story and your role as an agent. There are puzzles and a memory based games as well as the hidden object scenes [which come in two variations themselves: list of objects and find parts that match an outline] to vary things. The story is interesting if a bit outlandish at the finale and make it fun to keep playing.
When you've finished the game there are bonus features like artwork and desktop wallpaper [one of which I actually like enough to use in my rotating collection], nothing too fancy but nice none the less.
All in all one of the better games I've played in the genre.

Fun:
Point and click hidden object game with well drawn but simple scenes and nice lighting effects in some pictures. Not always obvious where to go next but that's not unusual in games like these but you may find you have to refer to an online walkthrough at some points.
The mini games and puzzles are not too difficult but, if need be, the skip button will eventually light up so you can use it.
The music is generic and not too obtrusive but it may send you to sleep.
In each scene you first have to find a coloured `lighthouse' card which is usually easy then it will provide a list of items to locate either by name, silhouette or pieces. In some scenes more than one card is available and you can swap between them. Items are not crammed together as in some games and tend to be where you'd expect them to be (floor, ceiling, walls, shelves etc) but some are partially hidden which makes finding them by silhouette a little difficult.
One particular (silhouette and pieces) scene required using a light bulb in four separate positions (one at a time) to illuminate a quarter of the room at a time which was different from the usual type of dark room searches.
Hints are unlimited, accurate and don't take too long to recharge.
The storyline cut scenes are drawn in a very basic style with both written and spoken words and can be skipped, which I did.
I personally don't like search by silhouette and pieces games so hence only 3 stars but if that's your thing then I think you'll really enjoy this game.
