Being a massive fan of Susan Lewis's books I have to say, yet again I was gripped by this one. Love, obsession, lies, deceit & shock. It was truly excellent. Like two of the characters in this story, she must have a very brilliant and intelligent mind to write the way she does. How she manages to have you believing you know the characters so well and almost the outcome of each story and then to turn everything on it's head is both amazing and absorbing. Keeping me up too late at night though. Strange Allure has now become one of my favourite S.Lewis books. A must have!

This is a gripping tale of a strange allure - twisting and turning in typical Susan Lewis style. Her best novel in a while with a touch of "Obsession" and "Darkest Longings" brought bang into the 21st century courtesy of e-mail and psychological manipulation. All the characters and events are believable and one almost lives the roller coaster of emotions experienced by Carla Craig from start to finish. With her usual flourish the author dispels all preconceptions about the conclusion of this book and the reader is left questioning why they just didn't see it coming! WOW...!! This book has it all - passion, intrigue, friendship and deceipt.

THis book, as with all Susan Lewis books will have you gripped from page one! I couldn't put this amazing story down, if it is possible Susan has completely outdone herself in this emotional tail! I laughed and cried aloud and recommended it to so many people all of whom had the same reactions! I can't wait for the next Susan Lewis production!
