Here we have the Swiss Family Robinson, filmed partly in the paradise images of Thailand, and given an entertaining new twist. There are some very good performers, but one to watch is Charlie Lucas who plays the young Jacob Robinson. He is separated from his family and falls in with pirates. Charlie might just be recognised from his part in Tea With Mussolini, or the BT adverts with ET. All the cast compliment each other well. The setting is amazing and the storyline will keep you watching.

Stranded (2002) is a revamp of the "Swiss Family Robinson", and is much better! The film is much more believable, and has characters we can bond with more. Look for great performances from Jesse Spencer, Andrew Lee Potts and Roger Allam as the bad bloke that you can't help sympathising with a bit and seeing his point.
The film is quite long ~ but is worth it, especially after we skip 7 years and see the changes. If you're looking for a video with a bit of paradise (filmed in Thailand), some action, romance, and fun then this is the film for you! And it even has some good-looking cast members!

I saw the film "Stranded" on television.
It is based on the story "Swiss Family Robinson" so if you like that story i think you will love the film "Stranded".
Some may think it childish in places but me it was a feel good film.

The production of "Stranded" is well thought out and the scenery is beautiful.
It was the type of film I like, a film with a start, middle and end to the story.

This film is an import so you have to choose the language you want to see it in and if you want subtitles that as well, but to me it looks as though it was filmed in the English language.

Buy it!
