I prefer not to spend too much on equipment to simply connect my other equipment. I can't really fault this lead, apart from maybe the connectors could be a little bit easier to tighten. It's gold-plated, which is great for this price. Just works how it's supposed to. Personally I am a little suspicious of these other retailers selling the thing for under �1 , so I bought it from Amazon and will probably buy another soon.

I bought two of these leads. Both came with crocked and/or loose pins straight out of the package. One of the two I could coax into my DVD player and my TV and then it only transmitted sound, no picture. The other didn't go in at all. There are two possibilties: a. I was really, really unlucky and got TWO 'monday products'. b. [...], meaning: the product was never ment to work, but it is cheap enought so most people don't bother sending it back.

I had quite a lot of difficulty fitting this scart lead due to poorly manufactured connectors. The gold plated connectors initially refused to go into the scart sockets of the Sony TV and DVD player. I had to bend them with a screwdriver and use a considerable amount of brute strength. In the end it worked and the picture is OK!
