Quite an interesting read, especially listening to his approach to his work and its diversity. However, I was very disappointed there were so few scandals or shocking confessions as hinted at in the video that appears on this page! Just some stuff about drug taking. The way he goes on you think his life was all sex and drugs and rock and roll. I skipped the latter pages which are concerned with the production of his television series which didn't interest me at all. One word of warning, it clearly states "in my own words" - perhaps that should read "in me own words", well, he's very fond of three which begin with c,f and b respectively, so if you've young people around, don't leave it out on the coffee table. Worth a read though if you're a fan.

I wouldn't ever admit to buying this book but it was an OK read. It does sum up the reason he has ended up in Eastenders because he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, nor is he a very good actor. That said he could have ended up a lot worse anmd been a mugger or a white van man

Excellent book, warts and all. Comes across as a fairly humble guy trying to earn a crust for his family. Well written and readable.

He had it all, then he kind of lost it all, but then he bounced back and now he's doing all right again. Plus he's learnt from his experiences.

Yeah, that kind of reads a bit like 'I'm Alan Partridge' doesn't it? Well imagine Alan Partridge, but with a wide-boy cockney swagger, a sinus packed full of gear and enough grammatical inconsistencies to leave Countdowns dictionary corner up in arms.

In other words, it's fantastic. Well worth a punt son!
