This book offers valuable information, a message of hope and a call for collective action for real, sustainable change through practical stragegies - I wish it had been available when I was beginning my own recovery from mental distress and psychiatric treatment, and I hope it is widely read and shared by mental health service users and survivors and those who care for or about them'.
