5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly As The Title Describes!!!, 24 July 2006

This review is from: Straight Jackin': Mixed By Solid Groove (Audio CD)
This CD can double as not only a great mix showcasing Dave's skills behind the decks, but also as a studio album as just about every track is done by the legendary Dave Taylor. Who is Dave Taylor you ask? Dubbed "The DJ's Producer", Dave Taylor is the man behind "Solid Groove", "Switch", "Induceve(w/Jesse Rose, another artist you need to hear)" & "Modeler"; all of which make multiple apearances on this album. Other alias's not scene on this album include "A. Brucker" & "Solitaire" (W/Lewis Dene)of "I Like Love" fame. The weakest tracks on the album in my opinion are #'s 4 & 7 in which neither are Taylor tracks. That's not to say that the 2 are even bad tracks, just weaker than the rest production wise. From start to finish this CD'll have you bumpin' & shakin' all the way through, not letting go for even a moment. Groovy, techy, funky, whatever you want it's all right here. This is most definately one of the best mix CDs I've ever heard & I've heard alot. BUY THIS CD, you won't be dissapointed even with the $20-$25 price tag. Also, if you can get your hands on it, Taylor did an amazing premix worth selling your soul over for Mixmag a couple months back, just an FYI for those that don't know.
