Synopsis

Two features. 'Story Of O' centres on a young woman who learns the pleasure of totally subjugating her body to the man she loves. Based on Pauline Reage's best-selling erotic novel printed in 23 countries. Based on the hugely successful S&M novel that has been read by millions of people worldwide. The author Pauline Reage tells the story of a beautiful young woman known only as 'O' who is taken by her boyfriend Rene to a chateau just outside Paris. There 'O' is trained in bondage and sexual perversion. 'O' is deeply in love with Rene and in order to prove her love she allows herself to be subjected to all kinds of degradation and abuse. Finally, Rene discharges a personal debt by transfering possession of 'O' to his stepbrother Sir Stephen. In the film which produced in 1975, Just Jaeckin the director explores the cruel world in which 'O' finds herself. A world of sado-masochism and kinky and bizarre sexual practices. Also includes 'The Story Of O - Untold Pleasures'.

The story of O is bondage/S&M-based film. It is rough, with great sex-scenes - without being too bad or hard. Acting is great, and you are drawn into the plot. If you like the thought of role play and mental games, this is truly a turn on. Not to say too much..., I just have to mention that one of the most genious things with this film, is the way it shows who's got control. I mean, the obvious submissive part is in fact in more control than what first meets the eye. Love it!!! See it!!!

Note: This box contains two film; the original The story of O from 1975 - and the remake from 2005. Skip the remake! (It's not even half as good as the original, with bad acting and baseball-boobs...)

yes, don't buy this one if you are looking for the original! if you want the french version which lasts for about 100 mins (the english version lasts for 93 mins), go to the french site of ebay and buy it there! in addition, this box contains 2 different movies: the story of o is good, whereas the other one untold pleasure is just soso, probably a waste of time to watch. so if you just want to watch the uk version of story of o, it's better to buy the ones just contain one DVD as it's cheaper. but overall, the o story, although has been cut, is still a enjoyable one to watch.
