This book,Stormy Weather by Anita Ganeri is a fantastic read full of funny but interesting facts. Also the illustrater,Mike Phillips doesn't make the reader bored by drawing terribly plain and altogether boring pictures. The genere of the book is funny facts which is exactly what its about. The book comes to have its title[Stormy Weather]because that's what it's all about,Stormy Weather! The book covers most things about stormy weather from air pressure to people who have actully been inside an of a tornado!!This book hasn't won any awards but with its average star rating on Amzon.co.uk which is four it definitely should have. The author and the illustrator have worked very well together combining there efforts to make one truely fantastic book! The strenghs of this book ar very clear the jokes, the drawings, the funny facts and how the author and the illustrator don't make this book boring. The only weakness of the book has to be that sometimes there are too many facts cramed in to one page or paragraph. This book has strange comparisons with the Horrible Sceince series by Nick Arnold...The other books in the series include Violent Volcnoes,Odious oceans and Raging Rivers...This book is manly set at 10 to 14 year olds,But with its funny facts its a great raed for anyone who's interestid in Stormy Weather.

This is a fantastic book! Forget what anyone else says. It makes everything about weather easy to understand and teaches you a lot you didn't know.

The diagrams and cartoons are great and it is funny too. Anita Ganeri is to be congratulated on producing such a marvellous book!

..The book came to have its title because it talks about Stormy Weather inside. The cover is very colourful and it has a joke. Fact is the genre of the book. The opening is an introduction of the book. There is one significant character and her name is Mona and she's a swat in Geography. The major theme in this fantastic book is stormy weather. The book is not being written from any one's point of view because it is a factual book not a novel. One strength is that it teaches you about geography and stormy weather in a funny kind of way. This book has no particular weaknesses in my opinion. This book has no awards that I know about even though it deserves one. Another book I've read by the same author is "Raging Rivers" and it is as good as this one. I would recommend this book to boys in between the ages of ten and fifteen. But I would not recommend you to buy this book because once you have read you probably would not want to read it again. SO BORROW IT NOW!
