The book follows on from many other guides by the same company, unfortunately for me although informative in lots of the areas, it perhaps lacks some punch and has far too much advertising in it also for my liking. I believe the book lacks really in depth Caribbean content, it has some but it has not covered 60% of the surf zones and I believe that is a real let down. If you are considering surfing these regions of Central America and Caribbean then this book is worth the purchase to have it available for reference, but it could have done more.

A handy starter 3 April 2011
Format:Paperback
I bought this book before heading to Central America on a surf trip. Its a great starter for the area. Sure it doesnt have all of the spots, but that would take half the fun out of it, but it does give you a taster for the different countries and areas and can help you start to plan a trip through the region. Its also a handier size (although still A4) than the world stormrider guides and so you could pack it in with your stuff if you wanted. Its also a cool book if you are into surfing and just fancy flicking through and looking at pics, dreaming of sunnier and more exotic places to surf than the east coast of England!
