Product Description

The USA is under seige. Terrorist Henri Cazaux has been using large commercial aircraft to drop explosives on major US airports. When he unleashes a cargo of explosives on San Francisco airport, the national panic reaches all the way to the White House.

From the Back Cover

The USA is under siege. With chilling ruthlessness terrorist Henri Cazaux has demonstrated the vulnerability of the USA’s air defences by using large commercial aircraft to drop bombs on unsuspecting major airports. When he hits San Francisco Airport the destruction of life and property is enormous. The national panic that ensues reaches all the way to the White House.

Only one man can end the chaos: Rear Admiral Ian Hardcastle. Charged by the President with re-establishing security in the skies, Hardcastle must take drastic action to control the emergency – and quickly. But then Cazaux sets his sights on the biggest target of all – the nation’s capital.

Format:Paperback
Superb description of possible political and military responses and attitudes, although it does not cover the general public aspect of the terrorist activities. Having just finished reading it prior to recent events, its almost predictive in nature, which makes you wonder what other works of fiction by this and other authors (Clancy & Coonts to name two) are no longer - unfortunately -in the realms of fantasy.

Some would claim this novel is sensationalist, and there is some truth in such a statement. But nobody can deny that this is a well written work of military fiction, and could rival Tom Clancy any day.
