Product Description

The Beautiful Island of Jersey is experiencing its worst weather in hundreds of years...
All across the land people are being urged to stay indoors out of the harsh winds and torrential rain, yet there are few poor souls that hear the calling of the ocean to draw them outside and into the water.

Will any of them be able to resist the pull of the sea? Will anyone survive to tell the tale?

This short story will make you think twice before taking a walk in the rain.

More About the Author

Jon Stasiak was born in the North east of England. After graduating from the University of Huddersfield with a Degree in Fine Art, he moved to the picturesque island of Jersey.

Although still motivated as a painter and photographer, Jon has been writing for the last two years and is now keen to develop his skills and reputation as an author.

Jon's work has recently been included in the Channel Islands anthology; Rising Tides, which is a collection of stories and poems by Channel Islands' writers, with all proceeds made from the sale shared between Jersey and Guernsey Women's Refuges.

Jon has released several short stories to date and is currently looking to publish his first novel "Standing in the Shadows"
