Full Length Novel (306 pages)

I DIDN'T PLAN TO FALL IN LUST that scorching hot summer day. And yet, that's exactly what I did. Having reached the ripe age of twenty-two, I thought I knew everything about men. In truth, I knew next to nothing, at least when it came to him. Beautiful, brilliant, damaged Gabriel Storm. The drug I can't live without. I risk everything I've worked for to be with him--my job, my career, my future. But I can't walk away. Because all I care about is his kiss, his touch, and the way he makes me feel when I'm in his arms.

EXCERPT:

"Meet me for drinks at my hotel. I'm staying at The Four Seasons. Around seven?" Storm asks.

I try to say something. But stunned by the turn of events, I can't.

With those long fingers of his, he palms a card from his jacket. "My mobile number. Call me when you leave the office so I know when to expect you." He strokes the card against my cheek.

His touch sets off something within, a trembling I can't control.

As he slips the card into my hand, his eyes turn the color of a savage storm. "You're very responsive, Elizabeth. I like that." And with that he strolls away, all liquid movement and languid grace.

What the hell just happened? I didn't say yes. You didn't say no, Elizabeth. His panty-melting voice whispers inside my head.

WARNING: This is a hot, steamy read with explicit language and sex scenes. For mature audiences.

More About the Author

Magda Alexander loves piña coladas and walks in the rain. Okay, enough of that. Rewind.

Magda loves reading steamy romances which she's been doing since she was ten. Ummm, that's not quite true. Steamy romances did not exist when she was ten, and if they had, she's pretty sure her mother would not have allowed her to read them. She did read the hand-holding, longing glances kind, along with her catechism, which got her into trouble more than once. Mother Superior was not amused.

As soon as sexy romances came into existence, thank you Rosemary Rogers, she's been lapping them up. So when it came time to write one, guess what she wrote. A no-brainer, right?

Magda, a lifelong learner, graduated from the University of Maryland where she majored in Business Administration (because her family had to eat) and minored in English (because she needed to dream). She's lived in Maryland most of her life and now resides close to the Catoctin Mountains in a city whose history dates back to colonial times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Storm Damages (Legacy) 26 Aug 2013
By MAXWELL
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Brilliant book! Loved the storyline! loved Gabriel and Elizabeth and all the other characters.Would recommend this book BUT! yet again another cliffhanger and never know when the next book will be out could be 1 month or even 6 who knows I get really fed up with all these sort of endings and by the time the books actually come out you have to go back and read the last chapter to refresh your memory which is soooo frustrating. At least the author of 50 shades had the right idea and brought all her books out at once that is why it became so popular. Also whoever said this book is just like This Man must have read a different book to me.This Man was a class on it's own and nothing like Storm Damages. As I say would recommend this book but just have to wait for the next instalment.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good Read ;D 24 Sep 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I was pleasantly surprised by this book, I thought it would be a bit run of the mill, but he story was well thought out and planned and it wasn't your standard predictable story. If you, like me, are a fan of of the This Man trilogy, I think you will definitely like this book. A great start, I can't wait for the next book ;D

Wow, cannot wait for Storm Damages 2, hope it is not a long wait. Magdalene Alexander is one of my favourite authors. A real enjoyable read. Plenty of steamy parts and love the lead characters.

By An avid reader. TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition
Firstly I want to get this off my chest, some reviewers have likened this book to This Man and I have got to say it absolutely is not anything like This Man, it doesn't have the heart pounding moments, it doesn't have the unequivocal, dominant strutting English apha extraordinaire it also doesn't have the powerful deliverance that This Man has either. That said this book is good IN IT'S OWN RIGHT.

It really isn't up there with the big guns out there though, it just isn't in their league but it definitely has potential. It's very, very predictable, it also annoys me to no end when someone trys to take on a British character and then falls short. So many things just didn't sit right with Gabriel's English, his mannerisms and his vernacular, some bits were spot on and then poof a poorly produced piece of text and the demon is nipping at the heels again reminding you that this has been written by someone whose not British. Like using the terms of endearment 'love' all the time and 'duck', heck Magda even got a cheerio in! Gabriel's character is a roller coaster, he has a dominant edge but then speaks quite flowery and endearing which threw me a few times; up and down all the time. That said though he has the potential to be uber hot and domineering, just wish Magda had a British person helping her with British idioms and characteristics, he'd be spot on then.

Having said all the above this book is a rather good read though, yes I harped it isn't up there with the greats but it is extremely close and with a few things ironed out it would be. Yes it's predictable but it's very readable, it does have a good storyline the chemistry is great between them, the sex is hot albeit sometimes delivered a tad dirty-rag magazine-ish.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really HOT!! 2 Dec 2013
By Shirley
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I love this book and have pre-ordered the 2nd book due out on 28 December 2013.

Elizabeth Watson works for a well known law firm, whilst in the middle of talks for Storm Industries to buy property, Gabriel Storm seduces and falls for her. They have great steamy sex until she discovers she is pregnant with his child.

Due to unforseen circumstances Gabriel returns to England as his father has a stroke.

Not wanting anything to hold the "buy out" Gabriel insists all relevant people from the law firm join him in London to continue the talks

I think this is far too much information, you will have to download the book to find out the end. It is a really good read enjoy ......

I thought this book would be a nice read between books but actually it was so much better than that! I loved the developement and the relationship between Elizabeth and Gabriel. The plot was interesting and to say I can't wait to get my hands on book 2 is an understatement.
