Product Description

From the Back Cover

The emotional directness and honesty of Brian Patten's work is what singles him out as one of the country's few truly accessible and popular poets.

In this impressive and imaginative collection he casts a distinctive light upon the world we live in, and upon the darker corners of the self.

'The master poet of his genre, the only one continually and successfully to "ring true"'
TRIBUNE

'He thinks and feels ferociously'
THE LISTENER

'A magic ability to turn radiant imagination loose…'
