If you are a fan of V-Tech stuff for your children then look no further than the storio system.VTech Storio Animated Reading System
This particular cartridge is excellent, the box indicates that the age group range is 5-7 which conflicts slightly as I've seen it elsewhere in the 4-6 age group range.
However, if your little one has been used to storio from an early age (our boy is 2 and a half and has had storio now for 5 months) then do not be put off by the age group banding's.
This cartridge follows Shrek as he takes his family on their holidays, and their are many interactive elements to the story.
All the usual characters are in play, and the voices etc are true to the films, which are a particular favourite of my two.
There is also an excellent storybook dictionary, and a few reading games which are excellent interactive fun.
Our little boy has learn't so much from this system and now boasts a reading range of >100 words, all of which he knows the meaning of and can spell them.
At this discounted price there is literally hours and hours of fun, highly recommended.
