Stories of life, be it troublesome partner or job, Alison writes with a difference showing more thoughts rather than just a story.
These stories give you more to bite into rather than the fluffy sloppy sort of short story.

5.0 out of 5 stars These Are Stories To Make You Go Ah... 31 Dec 2012
By Diana Bletter - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Reading Alison Wells' stories is a bit like climbing into the bathtub she describes in the first story of this fine collection, "Life by the Lapels," and finding suds that resembled "floating icebergs." The images are both comforting and jolting; for example, the way Wells describes two people in the story, "Filch," who "traced each other's faces and turned inside out." Ah! Powerful writing, pleasurable reading.
