5.0 out of 5 stars another great book in this series 16 Feb 2004
By Amber J. Burton VINE VOICE
Format:Paperback
Like the other titles in this series - 'Hal the Hero' (Henry VIII) and 'Don't say No to Flo' (Florence Nightingale)- this is another great introduction to history at Key Stage 1 level. Easy to understand, just the right length for group and individual reading, with narrative and speech/thought bubbles. There is material here for discussing how people used to live and for role play, as well as supportive literacy text. My 5 year old son loves it.

This book was kind of fun but not that educational, and written at a very low level (kindergarten or first grade)
