Format:Audio CD
This has a great country rock feel to it. Robert Hart is somewhere between Paul Rodgers and a young Frankie Miller. This is not the classic Bad Company but the version that was touring the US in the 90's.Mick Ralphs is on fine form throughout. Look at the guest list - Allison Krauss, Vince Gill, Timothy B Schmidt. No slouches. This album was criminally overlooked upon it's release, probably because Mr Rodgers was doing such good business at the time. This has a nice laid back feel to it, and it sounds like they're having a ball. Do yourselves a favour, and listen to what was going on prior to the great reunion.

Thre first thing to say is that their is no Paul Rodgers, so we are missing that incredible voice. That said, Kirke and Ralphs have continued with an excellent replacement and the material here consequently works well and serves the BC legacy handsomely. We have some reworks of old classics and new compositions, both of which work well together. All in all, a solid and enjoyable collection.

a little while back i used to subscribe to a 'new country' magazine that used to have a free cd with each issue.
one such cd contained 'oh! atlanta' which is the second song on this fantastic album.
well to cut a long story short as soon as i got hooked up on the web i decided to investigate the album that this song comes from and far from being disappointed i have to say i was blown away.
every song whether they be old (the stories told)or new(the stories untold),drips with class.
i know that they made some ropey albums in the eighties but with robert hart on vocals this harks back to their blues-rock heyday.
this is produced by country veteran josh leo and it shows, especially on the aforementioned 'oh! atlanta' and 'silver blue and gold'.
there remains little for me to add other than to say that if you're a fan of bad company's 70s heyday then buy this.
you won't be disappointed.
